Map Results Tab
The Result Tab allows you to regulate how the items displayed on the map are filtered on the map and sorted in the results below the map. You are also able to control the popup and results lists templates from here using drag and drop elements from your Zoo apps to give your maps a unique feel.
New features as of v2.6.x + include:
- Enable infinate scrolling. This allows you to toggle between a pagination view or infinate scrolling of the results
- Display and organize by distance. This shows the distance from your search and order from closest to furthest from your serch location. This only works if the closest location is to or from an address selected. This is bacause it needs a distance to compare from.
- Number of rows for filters. This allows you to set the number of rows in the component filters.
- Number of columns for filters was changed to a drop down selector.
The Marker Template allows you to configure the layout of the item popup on the map. Simply select the ZOO App Icon you are wishing to configure from the available tabs and click and drag the elements you wish to include in the your desired positions. To edit the elements, click on the edit icon on the right hand side, or to delete, click on the cross.
The Results Template allows you to configure the layout of the results that show up below the map. Simply select the ZOO App Icon you are wishing to configure from the available tabs and click and drag the elements you wish to include in the your desired positions. To edit the elements click on the edit icon on the right hand side, or to delete, click on the cross.
Number of Columns sets the template columns for the results list underneath the map.
Filter Elements allows you to choose which elements of the available Zoo Apps will be used as search filters in the search section found on the front-end above the map.
This is where the great functionality of ZooRadius comes in. Easy organzation and repeated elements work best here, these could include (but are restricted only by your imagination):
Item elements that don't really work here are those that include content that is more random or unique.
You may select as many of these elements as you need available for your front-end search functionality. To multi-select, simply click the required elements whilst holiding down the control button.
The Sort Elements section allows you to define by which element (of which app instance) will be used to sort results textually beneath the map.
Note: In addition to the component view of the Map results you can use modules with the subscribe feature to define alternative layouts for your results.
